You can permanently delete your JetBrains Academy profile by following the instructions below. If you only want to remove a certain piece of information, such as your email address or name, please contact us at academy@jetbrains.com.
Your profile stores the following information: your email address, full name, linked social media accounts, and personalized settings, like timezone and Beta tester details, as well as any comments you’ve left on the platform.
If you experience any technical issues with JetBrains Academy, please contact our support team using the Submit a Request form or email us at academy@jetbrains.com.
Before your account can be deleted, you will need to take a couple of necessary steps. First, if you signed up for JetBrains Academy using your JetBrains Account or your GitHub, Facebook, Google, or Stepik profile, please set up the password for your JetBrains Academy profile. You can do this in your profile settings or by following this link: https://hyperskill.org/accounts/password/set.
Next, if you have an active paid subscription for JetBrains Academy, you'll need to cancel it via your JetBrains Account. You won't be able to delete your account otherwise.
Once you've completed these steps, visit https://hyperskill.org/delete-account to completely delete your JetBrains Academy account. You will be asked to re-enter your JetBrains Academy password to confirm the action.
Warning: Once you’ve deleted your profile, there is no way to recover it.
